What the difference between DOUBLE SLASH (//) and BACK SLASH (\\) on Microsoft Internet Explorer's address line? As like a N5200 IP address at 192.168.1.100: The // means HTTP as like we could type //www.google.com and Explorer would open the http://www.google.com directly, thus if a N5200 IP address at 192.168.1.100, we could type //192.168.1.100 to access N5200 WEB page. The \\ means N5200 file & folder, as like we could type \\192.168.1.100 to access the N5200'folders & files directly. | |
